Master Bren is a Latinx, Polyamorous, Queer Leather person and Master to their slave of 6 years, sky. They're a proud member of the California Central Valley Leather Alliance, MAsT: Sacramento, apart of the Den of Dragons family, and was awarded the Northwest Master slave 2024 title with their slave. In 2019, they pioneered their own chapter of Leather Church (NorCal)—a monthly gathering originally based in Las Vegas, creating space in Northern California that creates inclusivity, building connections in community, supports local vendors, groups leaders and raising money for local non profits that serve people experiencing homelessness. Beyond this, Master Bren's dedication to the community is evident in their five-year tenure as a play space owner, tally Master, educator and also in their professional life working with LGBTQ+ youth as well as veterans in need. They are incredibly excited to now serve as Editor-in-Chief for From Hide to Heart Magazine.

Master Bren owes a lot of their experiences and success to the people who have mentored, educated and supported them since they joined the leather community 9 years ago and hopes to pay it forward tenfold to others in honor of those people.

girl Calyco is a queer little service-oriented slut, and in 2011 she found and fell in love with the Leather community. She eagerly volunteered for dozens of events from Orlando to Tucson, ran a monthly munch in Central Florida, and spent five fantastic years planning parties on the board of SouthEast LeatherFest before moving with her family to Washington in 2017.

Currently, girl Calyco serves her community as the Secretary of MAsT: Everett, Weekend Fun Coordinator for Leather Reign, and Registration girl for Stone Soup Kinky Camping. She also volunteers her time to several virtual events, such as MsC Worldwide and Thrive. Online and locally, Calyco educates and facilitates discussions on topics including disability & chronic illness, mental health, polyamory, ageplay, pet play, sploshing, and various ways to have a damn good time! She is thrilled to now serve as the Creative Services Coordinator of From Hide to Heart.

girl Calyco is Owned by an extraordinary Daddy, loved by a super supportive vanilla-swirl husband, and served by a devoted dame. She spends her free time caring for her tiny menagerie and being a dorky fangirl at home in Tacoma, WA.

Cody Coyote

Archives and Theirstory Coordinator

They/Them

Cody Coyote (they/them) is a Californian native at home in Appalachia, and they are a member of House of Iron. They began their journey into kink and Leather earnestly in the Sacramento region about seven years ago by taking refuge in bootblacking. In leather care they found all they could hope for: connection, community, acceptance, passion, legacy, and spirit. Primarily a solo-player, they particularly enjoy heavy impact, quills, needles, and tending to your leather and stories. Throughout the years they have volunteered and served in leadership roles for organizations such as Sacramento Queer Leather Association, Pragmatically Kinking, THRIVE, and Tri-State Alternative Lifestyle Organization (OH-KY-WV).

They spend most of their time chipping away at their doctoral dissertation, teaching college composition, and slinging coffee. When trying to be a human again, they enjoy running, quilting, playing games, and watching sci-fi with their two cats.

Cody is energized to collaborate with the editorial team and coordinators of From Hide to Heart as an Archives & Theirstory Coordinator, where they weave through-lines of Leather theirstory and legacy with contemporary, living traditions.

Daddy Wolfe

Editorial Lead

He/Him

Daddy Wolfe became part of the Leather community around 2011–2012 and has been an active and dedicated presence ever since. In 2016, he helped form the South Sound Leather Alliance in Tacoma, WA, working to create community, connection, and visibility for Leatherfolk in the region. In 2018, he proudly represented his community as the first runner-up for Washington State Mr. Leather.

Over the years, Daddy Wolfe has facilitated newcomer’s munches, meet & greets, and given countless volunteer hours to play spaces and Leather conferences. Today, he continues to share his knowledge and passion by teaching at a local play space, serving on staff at two large conferences, and volunteering at numerous others across the country. Known for his integrity, mentorship, and commitment to service, Daddy Wolfe embodies the values of Leather while uplifting those around him.

Outside of the community, in his vanilla life, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on IT Management, is a disabled Army veteran, and is currently retired. He also enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons and building Legos in his downtime.

He/Him

Biscuit (he/him) is a leather service dog, bootblack, and all-around geek who loves footnotes, bowties, and cookies. He currently serves as Washington State Bootblack 2025, and is committed to joy and accessibility in the community on and off his stand. He discovered leather via the petplay community in 2016, dove in headfirst, and hasn’t looked back since. He flags houndstooth on the left, and grey, hunter green, mint green, and puppy on the right. Biscuit is also the head of the Volunteers and Info Desk teams at International Ms. Leather & Bootblack weekend, a current and former board member of Seattle Pups and Handlers (SEA-PAH) and a former board member of Seattle boys of Leather (SboL), and bakes an excellent chocolate chip cookie (shortbread available on request).

When Biscuit isn't providing service to his Daddy-Sir JJ or the community, he can be found writing, cataloging video game history, or sniffing out boots and leathers in need of a treat, or exploring new kinks. He is beyond thrilled to bring his professional background in copy editing to serve the wider leather community through his work with the From Hide to Heart team, where he knows he can make every piece shine.
